How much do acrylic signs cost in Los Angeles?
It depends on size, thickness, whether the letters are cut individually or printed on a panel, and the mounting. A printed panel on standoffs is the most economical; individually cut, painted letters cost more. Send us the logo and the wall dimensions and we quote a fixed price.
Are acrylic signs suitable outdoors?
Yes, when made from UV-stable cast acrylic. We use it for channel-letter faces, lightbox faces and outdoor logo panels across Los Angeles. For a wall sign that must survive years of direct sun, we recommend painted or colored acrylic over surface-applied vinyl.
Acrylic or metal letters?
Acrylic is lighter, comes in any color and can be backlit; metal (aluminum or stainless) gives a brushed or polished finish that acrylic can only imitate. Many lobby signs combine both: a brushed-metal logo with acrylic letters. See our dimensional letters page.
