Frosted & Privacy Window Film for Offices in Los Angeles, CA

Frosted Window Film: Privacy, Branding and Code Compliance in One Layer

Glass walls make an office feel open and make a conference room feel like a fishbowl. Frosted window film solves that without curtains or construction: an etched-glass look that blocks the view, keeps the daylight, and can carry your logo, a pattern or a gradient. Global Signs & Graphics cuts and installs frosted and privacy window film for offices, clinics, law firms, gyms and storefronts across Los Angeles. We install frosted window film and privacy film in Los Angeles, including frosted glass film for conference rooms, offices and storefronts, and window frosting in clean patterns, logos and full-coverage designs.

Options

  • Full-panel frost: the whole pane frosted for restrooms, private offices, storage and back-of-house glass.
  • Privacy bands: a frosted band at seated eye level (typically 3 to 5 feet) on conference-room and office glass, with clear glass above and below so light and the sense of space stay.
  • Die-cut logos and lettering in the frost: your logo cut out of the frosted panel so it reads as clear glass, like the MBP Solutions logo in Van Nuys, or frosted lettering applied to clear glass.
  • Patterns and gradients: dot gradients, stripes and custom patterns printed or cut in frost for a designed look.
  • Frost plus lettering: frosted film inside the glass with solid die-cut lettering outside, as on the Two Circles office in Culver City.
  • Glass safety marking: frosted bands or dots on large clear panels and doors so people do not walk into the glass, which building codes require in many commercial spaces.

Material

We use Aslan frosted window film, a German-made etched-glass vinyl with a fine, even grain that looks like sandblasted glass and does not show streaks, adhesive lines or seams. It is applied wet for a bubble-free finish on large panels, cut on our plotters for logos and lettering, and removes cleanly if the office changes. Frosted film can be installed inside or outside the glass; for offices it goes inside, where nobody can pick at the edges.

Where It Goes

Conference rooms, glass-walled private offices, reception partitions, medical exam rooms and clinic doors, gym studios, law firms, shared-building suites, and storefronts that need privacy at the sidewalk without losing daylight. For exterior storefronts that need privacy and a graphic, compare perforated window vinyl.

Frosted Film FAQ

Does frosted film block light?

No. It diffuses light like frosted glass, so rooms stay bright while the view is blocked.

Can I see through it at night?

No. Unlike perforated film, frosted film blocks the view both ways at all times of day.

Can you match our brand?

Yes. Logos and patterns are cut from your vector files; printed frost can add color to the design.

How is it priced?

By the square foot of glass plus cutting for logos and installation. A conference room is typically a half-day job. Send a photo of the glass and we quote a fixed price.
