Sometimes the whole job is a single line of type. For this Theoni storefront in Beverly Hills, still papered over during the build-out, the brand wanted its other locations lettered across the main window in clean white type, matched exactly to the typeface on its packaging and website.
What we made
One line of die-cut white vinyl lettering cut from the brand’s own font file, pre-masked as a single strip so the word spacing and baseline came out exactly as designed. Applied first-surface to the outside of the glass, leveled to the window frame rather than the sidewalk (which slopes), then the mask removed and every letter edge burnished.
Small job, same standards
- Material: 3M IJ35 cast vinyl in white, the same grade we use on vehicles, so it will not shrink or crack in the sun.
- Font match: cut from the vector artwork supplied by the brand; no substitute typefaces.
- Timing: installed while the window was still papered on the inside, so the lettering was in place the morning the paper came down.
