RMS, Inc. is a retail management company with an office on North Lake Street in Burbank. They wanted their logo on the wall of a work area: clean, modern and quick to install, without cutting into a textured plaster wall. We produced a printed logo panel held by two brushed aluminum rails.
What we built
A rigid white panel with the RMS logo printed and laminated, mounted on a pair of horizontal brushed aluminum standoff rails. The rails hold the panel a short distance off the wall, so it casts a shadow line and reads as a finished sign rather than a poster. The panel slides out of the rails, so the logo can be updated later without touching the wall again.
Why this style
- Textured walls. Vinyl lettering does not stick well to plaster and stone finishes; a panel on rails sits over the texture.
- Budget. This is the most affordable way to get a professional logo on an office wall. Dimensional letters cost more; we do those too when the lobby calls for them.
- Changeable. New logo, new panel, same rails.
Options at the next level
For a reception wall that visitors see first, we usually suggest dimensional letters or a backlit lobby sign. For work areas, meeting rooms and hallways, printed panels on rails or standoffs keep the branding consistent at a fraction of the cost.
