When the message is the picture, solid vinyl is the medium. This Cazcanes Tequila campaign wrapped the corner windows of a liquor store with three larger-than-life bottles on a printed agave landscape, continuous across six panes and around the corner of the building.
Why solid vinyl, not perforated
Perforated film would have put a pattern of holes through the bottle photography and softened the label detail. The client wanted photographic quality at close range, and the windows did not need to be seen through, so we printed on 3M IJ35 solid white vinyl and added a UV overlaminate to protect the print from sun and cleaning.
Making a wrap read as one image
- The artwork was scaled across all six windows as one file, with each pane cut as its own panel so the bottles line up through the mullions.
- Colors were proofed against the brand’s label swatch before printing.
- Installed first-surface (outside the glass) so the tinted glazing would not shift the colors, with the small corner window carrying the brand mark.
What the client gets
A storefront that works as a billboard for the length of the campaign, then comes off cleanly: laminated cast vinyl removes with heat and leaves the glass ready for the next promotion. We print and install campaign window wraps for beverage brands, distributors and retailers across Los Angeles; see perforated vs. solid window vinyl, our window graphics page, or send us your storefront and artwork.
